Alyssa Milano talks about digital transformation of entertainment (Includes interview)

On the impact of technology on the entertainment and acting industry, Milano remarked, “I think social media in particular has changed the entertainment industry by giving artists a platform to share who they are, and celebrate the moments that are important to them.”

When asked how she uses technology in her daily routine and life, Milano acknowledged that she utilizes “technology for everything really.” “My home is a smart home. I drive an electric car. I document my children’s growth and memories with technology. I use social media and technology to educate and empower people on the political, philanthropic and social issues that are facing this generation,” the actress explained.

Milano continued, “I also try to share my digital platform for others to speak out on what is important to them. That’s how PatriotNotPartisan.com was created. I wanted to hand over the bullhorn to people that had something organic to say.”

Regarding her plans for the future, Milano noted that she recently wrapped production for the independent film Little Italy, and she revealed that she will soon begin filming the new Netflix comedy series Insatiable.
