article imageBomb threat at SANRAL rounds off 2 anthrax scares this week

By Matthew Hendricks     Jan 26, 2014 in World
Johannesburg - A bomb threat was reported at the SA National Roads Agency Limited's (Sanral) operations centre in Samrand, near Midrand on Sunday.
Mg.co.za reports that a sweep of the building was in progress.
According to sabc.co.za this will make the third scare aimed at SANRAL in the span of this week alone.
It comes on the back of mounting controversy and fast growing nationwide dissent over the implementation of e-tolling.
SANRAL CEO Nazir Alli condems the threats and claim that they would only harm the employees and not the multi-billion rand project, according to ewn.com.
The bomb scare comes a day after yet another massive protest by the South African public against the hugely unpopular e-tolling implementation signed into law by the ANC's Jacob Zuma.
