NFL Fantasy Football: Best ‘sleepers’ at quarterback for 2015

Having a stud quarterback is always coveted, but for those who wait until the middle or late rounds for a signal caller, here’s a list of players that can still help you win and earn those bragging rights over friends and fellow co-workers.

It’s not often a rookie signal caller makes a list of must-have players, but with the recent news that Jameis Winston will start for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in week one and the fact he has a talented group of wide receivers to work with, it makes sense to have the youngster on your short list of late round “sleepers.”

Winston will have veteran Vincent Jackson and two terrific young wide outs in Mike Evans and Austin Seferian-Jenkins to spread the ball around. It also figures he will have more success than last years starters and they accounted for 21 touchdown passes.

Another young quarterback that could have a big year in the NFL in 2015 is Minnesota Vikings second-year signal caller Teddy Bridgewater. While he doesn’t have the set of receivers of Tampa Bay, Bridgewater still had the third highest completion percentage of any rookie in league history last year and he will have Adrian Peterson taking some pressure off with his return to the league this season.

For those fantasy football owners looking for a bit more experience, Jay Cutler could be the man to lead your squad of players in the coming year. Despite losing Brandon Marshall at wide receiver, the Chicago Bears still have plenty of weapons and with a defense that isn’t expected to improve much over last year, throwing the football 35+ times per game is likely and that could lead to big numbers for those willing to take a gamble on the veteran quarterback.
