The chat (below) will cover all aspects of branded newsrooms, from what it takes to succeed and set yourself apart, who’s excelling in the field, and why branded newsrooms matter. The chat will feature Hogg, co-founder of /newsrooms a division of Digital Journal founded in late 2012.

-Jon Bernstein, author of a white paper on branded newsrooms. He is an award-winning journalist, editor and digital strategist.
-April Umminger, vice president-director of Chicago newsroom, media services at Edelman Digital. Umminger spent 14 years a journalist for the Washington Post and USA Today before landing work with the Edison Electric Institute as manager of media relations and strategic communication.
