Hermes Expo International 2017 event to kickoff in New York City (Includes interview)

The organizers of the event are offering business owners a little advice: “Attend and Succeed!” It places the focus on quality events that encourage business owners to explore, discover, and participate, helping businesses connect with businesses.

The Hermes Expo International, founded by president Mr. Paul Kotrotsios, has been around since 1992. It brings together countless of Greek-Americans and American-owned businesses, giving them a platform to display their products and services in front of potential customers in the United States and abroad. It provides networking opportunities, connecting people and businesses from North America, Southeastern Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean. The Expo hosts exhibits, panel discussions, business to business meetings and educational seminars, in an effort to help businesses grow and prosper.

Last year, as Digital Journal reported, the Hermes Expo International celebrated its 25th year anniversary in Pennsylvania.

Mr. Paul Kotrotsios remarked, “For the past quarter century, the Expo’s purpose and reason for being has been to connect people and businesses.”

Mr. Kotrotsios continued, “That is why we take care to create an atmosphere and environment that makes it easy to network, explore partnerships and discover new opportunities.”

This year’s event begins on April 24 at the Russian Team Room in New York City. The event is entitled “A Taste of Hellas: Importing and Exporting in the Eastern Mediterranean,” and it is a major success year after year.

Participants can join the Eastern Mediterranean Business Cultural Alliance (EMBCA), in conjunction with the Hermes Expo and the Queens Chamber of Commerce as it presents a panel discussion, wine and food tastings and speakers from the import and export business. “A Taste of Hellas” is designed to show the mutual benefits of importing products from Greece, both to help the Hellenic Republic and businesses in America. Similar to previous years, samples of wine, cheeses, olives, and other products will be included at this year’s event. Guest speakers range from a wide variety of fields which include a master chef of Hellenic Mediterranean cuisine to Hellenic product import experts.
