Epicenter Press is fielding a deluge of requests for its sudden hot hit:
Sarah: How a Hockey Mom Turned Alaska's Political Establishment Upside Down. Written by Kaylene Johnson, the biography of John McCain's vice-president is one of the few books about this politician now enduring the media spotlight.
According to
Publishers Weekly, Epicenter burned through its 7,000-copy first printing in less than a month, and then reprinted 3,000 more copies, which were all shipped by early Friday. Also, "press began working with Lightning Source over the weekend and the print-on-demand printer has produced 30,000 copies of the trade paperback edition so far--the first of which are now being shipped--and Epicenter ordered another 10,000 copies Monday morning."
Looks like someone is benefiting from all the
negative press Palin is facing. I predict several more authors will be interviewing Palin double-quick and pumping out their own biographies.
