Congrats, San Fran Giants

I was happy to see the San Francisco Giants win the World Series last night. It comes down to underdogs and getting baseball's prized possession after a lengthy drought. That's why I liked watching the Boston Red Sox win the World Series after decades of coming up empty. Or the Indianapolis Colts in the NFL, finally winning the big game after more than 30 years of nadda.
I know Texas fans are disappointed, and even baseball fans are saying the lopsided win by the Giants didn't produce such a compelling World Series this year. So it goes when one team dominates in hitting and pitching, consistently. San Fran has legacy in the MLB, and not just because Barry Bonds slugged homers when he was on the squad: they're one of the oldest baseball teams and they have won the most games of any team in the history of American baseball.
This is the first time the San Fran Giants have won the World Series (they won the title as the New York Giants), so the city of SF should be celebrating like champions. Because they are, and they deserve the title.
