B.C.'s NDP Health critic, Adrian Dix wants to follow the lead of other provinces that are funding insulin pumps for diabetes sufferers. While many will applaud this effort, who is challenging the $7,000 cost of this pump?

My youngest son uses a pump, it has been a huge boon for him and provides the 24/7 coverage he needs to function.
Q] When is too much too much?
A] When it's more than enough?

Whether desktop or laptop, given the many functions they are capable of and what is available for less than $1,500, and of excellent quality, the $7,000 for an insulin pump appears obscenely high.

Whether or not I needed this device I would not be indifferent to its cost - particularly when asking that it be shared by all.

I'm not certain how much my son paid, but I believe it was covered by his highly priced insurance to a degree.
