"Seniors Got Talent"

My wife and I went to a wonderful event July 31. It was called “SENIORS GOT TALENT” It took place in a senior community center located in a community college complex. This place is located in Broward County just north of the beautiful city of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
What made this event so wonderful was the amazing talent these seniors displayed on stage. Seniors in their seventies, eighties, and nineties gave outstanding performances as group dancers and group singers, solo singers and dancers, comedians, and a ventriloquist. I am telling you these were not shabby performances.
The event was judged by a group of seniors and Two Personalities from channel 4 who were also Master of Ceremonies, Elliot Rodriquez CBS4 News Anchor and Lissetta Gonzalez CBS4 Weather Anchor. First second and third place awards were given, all well deserved.
Two thousand people showed up for the event. It was very well organized so every thing went smoothly. There was free valet parking, plenty of help to guide the people along and help them with directions to the seating and bathroom facilities. They gave out bags with water and little packages of snacks, also in the bags were a program guide and assorted written information of medical facilities available in the county.
