OH NO

Posted Aug 8, 2008 by G. Robert M. Miller in Politics 2 comments
This was just reported on CBC in regards to the Russia-Georgia conflict:

"The US is a strong ally of Georgia and US President George Bush issued a statement today pledging support for what he called Georgia's 'territorial integrity'. The US is calling for both sides to agree to a ceasefire and is sending an 'envoy' to the region."

Anyone know what exactly the 'envoy' includes? And what happens if Russia doesn't agree to a ceasefire? And will this be seen by Russian's as the US preventing Russia from protecting the people of South Ossetia?

Worrisome stuff.
