The new X-Files movie scullies into our world on July 25

Remember Moulder and Scully? And the Smoking Man? It looks like the X-Files is coming back into our lives with a new film debuting on July 25. I Want to Believe stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, while also featuring Amanda Peet, Xzibit (?), and Billy Connolly.

I won't say a peep about the plot because the trailer is worth seeing fresh. Here it is.

the Smoking Man... wasn't he revealed? Gosh I forgot his name. I could have sworn he got blown up while hiding out in a cave made of magnetic stuff that killed aliens.

And OMG! I thought his sister Samantha was dead! ooops did I peep?

I'm not sure about the Smoking Man, but I also thought his sis was dead.

Looks like it'll be interesting. Mind you, I want very much to believe that the Smoking Man is deal already ... lol .... isn't smoking supposed to kill?

Billy Connolly is a neat twist though. I remember seeing his one-man show, where he mused that although he's been in quite the number of movies, he isn't remembered because he's always killed off 10 minutes into the action. Let's hope he survives until at least the midpoint this time :D
