Due to take place Tuesday Nov. 24 at noon ET, DigitalJournal's next liveblog debate will look at President Obama's track record in the past year to determine if he's truly given Americans hope.
In November 2008, Barack Obama won the U.S. election to become president. He built his campaign on the idea of hope and change, and in the past year he has tried to fulfill the many promises he offered during his campaign.
But has he done enough? What success stories are already being written on Obama's resume almost a year into his presidency? What can Obama do differently, or is he on the right track?
We want to know what you think about the Obama's track record in 2009. Let us know if you think Obama is the right man to lead the U.S. out of a global recession, to play peacekeeper across the world, to bring health care to Americans.
On Nov. 24, you have a chance to share your insight during our liveblog debate.
At noon ET, go to DigitalJournal.com and check out the liveblog player embedded inside an article headlined with the words "DigitalJournal.com's Liveblog Debate." Moderators will offer questions to the audience to begin conversation. We want you to participate and add your thoughts to the debate, also ask question on something you don't understand.
During the hour-long Liveblog Debate, moderated by Digital Journal staff members, respectful and non-abusive comments will be published for, and against this issue. You don't have to be a Digital Journalist or a site member to take part in the discussion, either.
