i just wanted to take this opportunity to say goodbye and thanks to those that supported me on here. I have been subject to being suspended from this site twice now and in view of recent events I cannot be coping with this stress. I wrote what I considered a news worthy article about my beautiful baby boy who was born with several disabilities one of which was unknown. Because I didn't reply quickly enough obviously it is difficult for me at the moment as I am a full time mother again with a baby who has disabilities.
The DigitalJournal staff have taken it upon themselves to ban my account and not allow me to post anymore stories on it. So i am here saying Ciao and thanks to everyone who has supported me. I would rather use a different site than one that keeps penalising me for things that are out of my control. Surely it is wiser to have a proper discussion about these things than to suspend a persons account? Well I have my doubts that this blog post will see it through the day as staff on this site obviously want to protect themselves and their site. As long as you fit into a category on this site and don't step out of the box then you will be safe, but if you step out of that box and do something out of the comfort zone then you can kiss your account goodbye.
Surely a site like this should be encouraging people rather than discriminating against people? I doubt I am the only person who has had to leave this site for similar reasons. I personally think the staff would be better on focusing on the needs of reporters and mentoring them properly without cancelling their accounts for stupid, petty reasons. Thanks to those who supported me especially Cynthia. I will genuinely miss those who cared about me and my situation. If only the people who have done this to my account could experience what it is like to live my life for one day.
Recently it has been hell and I don't need to be threatened like I have been. If the DigitalJournal staff truly cared for their reporters then they would care about things like what is going on in a persons life.
However this site punishes you if you don't do something that they like. Such as writing back quick enough. Ironically I answered this staff member earlier on today, but it is still not good enough. I am very disappointed.
