  Your earnings will go up and down based on how active you are on the site. If other users are more active than you, they claim more of the moneypot. We believe people should be rewarded for their % contribution, so if one person contributes more they earn more.

  Also, if your rank/earnings fluctuate a bit, don't worry — as users continue to vote, your previously written articles can boost your rank.
