We kid you not: a company at a German trade show
attached tiny banner ads to fly legs, in order to get some attention (but perhaps PETA has something to say about this?).
The banners measures a few centimetres across, but they were heavy enough to disrupt the insect's soaring pattern, causing them to dip low and thus be visible at eye level. Genius, some may say, but oh so cruel, animal proponents might say.
