Univeristy researchers looking for citizen journalists to take survey

Posted Oct 6, 2009 by  David Silverberg in Internet 2 comments
DigitalJournal.com received an email from two researchers at the University of Kentucky, who said they "are researching your news contributing activities (e.g. stories, photos, videos) to online newspapers."
They asked us to circulate a survey about citizen journalism, your involvement with citizen media, etc.
This confidential survey will take about 15-20 minutes to complete. The survey asks basic questions about various perceptions about mainstream and independent citizen organizations and journalists, motivations for news contributing activities and community engagement.
The survey is available here: http://uky.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_a59syjnsSJtoaPO&SVID=Prod [^]
Of course, taking part in this survey is optional, if you have some spare time.
