Micheal Moore has a new documentary titled, "Capitalism: A Love Story". Like his previous movies he attempts to convert the masses by showing them horror stories pertaining the movies topic. But, like the rest of his movies, he fails to explore any root causes and instead uses demagoguery to make everyone feel bad.
My understanding of the movie is Micheal focuses primarily on the bailouts of the major banks and special relationships between Goldman Sachs and the government. Ok.
Wait a sec?
Government bailouts of banks and secret dealing between government and big business?
Thats not capitalism, it's corporatism.
There you have it, from the very title Micheal Moore displays his stunning ignorance of economics and labels capitalism as a system in which big business gets bailed out and government whores itself out to the highest bidder. When in fact capitalism lets businesses who fail go bankrupt and rewards successful companies.
Under capitalism a business rises and fails by its own merits and cannot go crying to government to bail it out. This is the system we have today, where there is no fear of going bankrupt if your one of the 19 major banks or a car company.
It's okay though, the sheeple will believe whatever they are told and the majority will believe every word of it.
