On November 15th my friend JT and I will be going to the Carolina Panthers game against the Atlanta Falcons. This will be my third game I have been too, both times before they lost, badly. The first game was against the New York Giants and they lost something along the lines of 30-10, my memory is a bit hazy.
Two years ago, the year Jake got hurt early in the season and we had to bring in Vinny Testaverde. They lost badly once again, but none of that truly mattered as we were able to watch Peyton Manning and Vinny Testaverde play in the same game, it was worth it. Our seats to the game versus the Colts were nosebleeds, and I mean nosebleeds. We were literally one row below the top of the stadium in line with the goal line. I won't reveal how much we paid for the tickets as I am quite embarrassed the outrageous amount we paid for those crappy seats.
This year however, we played it smart and bought our tickets the day they went on sale and paid only half of what we did before. We'll be sitting in section 513, on the 30 yard line and 10 rows up, these seats will be heavenly compared to last time.
That same weekend though could turn out even better. I'm waiting to hear back from family friend who has two season tickets for the Tar Heels and told me to let him know if there were any games I wanted to go to. Could anyone turn an offer like that down? The Tar Heels play the Miami Hurricanes that same weekend in a match up between two top 25 teams. Every time they play it is one of the best games of the season with Carolina generally pulling quite the upset.
Hopefully, I'll hear back from him this weekend.
