Why did you start blogging?

I started blogging after posting on a forum and the moderator kept deleting my posts as he disagreed with the content. It was a science forum and he felt my view was not scientific, despite valid sources being posted. Not wishing to be silenced I took my opinion over to MySpace and received a grand reception there. I later created a blogger.com blog (my first ever blogger blog) and I created around 15 niche blogs as the years went by. Most are inactive now as it's impossible to update them all regularly. I now have a wordpress blog and my own business supplying others with website and blog content. All this from one petty squabble on a science forum! Isn't science grand! Why did you start blogging and where has it led you?
