I can't remember how many guitars I have owned and sold in my life, but I have three right now. I haven't owned a Gibson or a Fender for a while because I prefer to have a sound that isn't typically one or the other of those makes.
Here they are.

My guitars. From left to right, a Leduc, a Takamine, and a Gordon Smith

From left to right - The first one is a Leduc. It has a very "jazzy" sound. Hand-made, it was produced by a Frenchman who now makes basses in America for the world's greats. I was looking for a guitar and a friend told me about a barman who was selling that guitar along with a 50-watt RMS Marshall tube amp, for €900 the lot.
I jumped on it. Why? Because I knew that a guitar like that was worth four times as much, and that's without counting the amp! It had obviously "fallen off the back of a lorry."
The acoustic is a Takamine EN-10. It was a present. It doesn't have a particularly great sound in itself, but Takamines are well known for their sound when DI'd in a studio, or played through an amp.
On the right is another hand-made guitar, by Englishman Gordon Smith. Basic and relatively inexpensive, but used by many pros, my last record producer told me it has one of the strongest output signals he has seen, so, again, good for studio or live work.
Excellent evening to all!
