My swollen belly teaming with life

a life for a life

a life not yet lived a life not yet born

Drinking till dawn

or waking at dawn

both praying to the porcelain God

Uncontrollable dancing and laughter

losing oneself to the madness

of childhood or of wild oats?

Regret of a night in a strangers arms?

Regret of a night that never will be

Regret for the regret I feel when I look into their eyes

Watching you live hurts

telling you so is shameful.

Guilty of wishing for what I choose to reject.

You say I didn't miss out?

I say I only got half of the experience.

The (brilliant) video starts getting all subliminally nasty, decadent and nihilistic at around 2:40, which is about halfway through.

You mean showing how things get out of control and into the regretful area, people get falling down drunk and look rediculas? Yeah, it does. But what will people remember the next day after the hang over? how much fun it was.
Like Maryanne said on last week's True Blood, " A few bumps and bruises is a small price to pay for bliss. Bloody Mary anyone?"
