Have you ever leaned back on a chair and fell? I admit, I have (but not recently) and it's always been a pain to see wobbly and unsafe chairs.
Along comes designer
Deger Cengiz with his Attitude Chair: it's a regular chair with an extra pair of hinged legs that swing out when you tilt backward. Very useful, very elegantly designed.
It's fashioned from wood and MDF, and limited to 13 units. For now.
It costs $500 US and can be purchased via
Voos Furniture.
Yep, it's costly, and doubt everyday people can afford it. But it gives us hope that at least smart designers are thinking of the sitter when they craft products.
