Latest update from Subhabrata. Those who contributed can feel good they helped save a man's life. Perhaps this response, and the initial information, is evidence that it is better to help if you can and to make a mistake if someone isn't in need, than to neglect to do so and have someone die as a result. In addition I wanted everyone to know our fellow citizen journalist will be back with us, and for that reason I am particularly delighted.

Hello Carol,
Subhabrata is back at home. His surgery is over and it is successful. It took around 1.5 hrs. The doctor said that his condition was at an alarming stage and it was surprising how he did not feel any symptoms. After the surgery his gall bladder which was removed from his body was shown to us. It was totally infected and rotten with innumerable small particle-like stones sticking all over the swelled walls of the bladder. He was undergone laparoscopy. He has got pain in his abdomen which is natural at this stage of recovery as we were told. Anyways, the surgery is successful and we are quite satisfied with his progress.
I heard from my mom-in-law that you called up at our residence. I too was not available that day since I was staying with Subhabrata at the personal cabin of that nursing home. We received all your donations and others from Debra and Cynthia. And that's enough for us. We don't need anymore. You proved that you are real friends in need. It is because of you and your prayers and immense help that my husband is in this world. And now I know that my husband has got some friends who are Angels. I have no words to express my gratitude to all of you.
Thank you so much. Thanks to all of you. I would write to Debra and Cynthia too. I tried to do it now but I am too busy with Subho's nursing and care till he is back to his normal condition. I just need some time.
Take care and stay in touch
