Twitter integration, improved Reporter sign up process?

Hi all, I know this is probably not very high on the Digital Journal team's agenda, but with Twitter being such a popular service at the moment, are there any plans to integrate Twitter with this site similar to that by All Voices where any article you post can be automatically submitted to your Twitter status? Another feature that would come in quite handy is a status update for when you submit an application to become a journalist. Yes you get an email when you've been approved, but it would be handy if instead of showing the submit your application page after you've submitted your application you saw a page which showed your status i.e. approved, not approved, under consideration etc. That way you would have more of an idea about what is happening with your application.
