Google has missed out on a placing for its Bloggers platform in the Webware 100, a big blow for its social networking hopes.
But Gmail and other Google apps such as Docs and the Search platform successfully held their spots, allowing Google to win 11 awards - the most out of all entrants in the competition.
Google has been trying to boost its social offerings, but has yet to settle on a working solution. Blogger not appearing on the awards is bad news for Google, who is desperate to enter the social arena.
