Air Force One and some F-16s scare the heck out of thousands of New Yorkers. And we thought we were prepared for another 911 type attack. The Obama administration, DOD, FAA, New York State, NYC Mayor's Office and the NYPD all proved that we are not. The fact that no one in the know in these governmental bodies raised an alarm or even gave a heads-up to superiors is astounding. It reveals a serious communication and coordination gap that must be repaired. This fiasco may turn out to be a blessing if the relevant parties will use it as an opportunity to reevaluate how they do business with each other. All of them are at fault for letting this happen. They all need to get together and fix the problem.
