They will not be officially handed out until June 8 in Beverly Hills, but winners of the Student Academy Awards were announced by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
In all 13 students from nine U.S. colleges and universities were chosen. Plus, three students from foreign universities have been selected as well.
The awards will be presented at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills on June 8 and hosted by Bob Sagat, a former winner. That is not something heard very often - - Sagat is a former winner of a Student Academy Award.
In the categories listed, there are three winners and on the night of the ceremony, it will be determined which place they have landed, as in gold, silver and bronze.
