Love or Moon?
Times and trends never cease to change,
But it is totally true that true love never wanes.
It only ever grows full, and then forever looms large,
Above you and shining, far brighter than stars.
A Forward Thought
It starts with a heart,
And spreads through nations.
It takes hold of minds,
And is seen on their faces.
It places in front,
The common aspirations of mankind.
It creates solutions,
Which we then find.
It holds that we are we.
It holds that peace can be.
It stands for unity.
It promotes equality.
And in all places, it is seen,
Friends of this world -- I have a dream.
She Was, But Now is Gone
To that timeless, never-was sweetheart,
I think we both know what was missed.
Afraid of futures, so avoiding the first start,
Imagine if our lips had kissed.
Marathons take endurance,
And sprints take power,
Were we fit? Well we certainly needed assurance,
That we wouldn’t collapse in trying hours.
Yet in time consuming recollection of the simple things,
We should have known to run,
Regardless of if it ended in flames or with wedding rings,
It was the participation that would have been fun.
And in time consuming recollection, before we close doors on bright things for fear,
We ought to walk through them first, just to make sure we are seeing things clear.
