A Choice I Must Make

Posted Apr 10, 2008 by Bob Ewing in Politics 2 comments
While the New Brunswick provincial election is about 2 years away providing no significant changes in the composition of the Legislature take place before then. I find myself, for the first time, contemplating doing something that I have never done. Vote Conservative.

The New Brunswick Liberal government is making far too many bad decision, french immersion, environment, forestry, for example, and are only displaying their arrogance when questioned.

Why Conservative, because in my riding only 2 parties will be in the running, Liberals and Conservatives. There is no other choice, well I suppose not voting is the third but not one I can accept.

Interesting topic Bob. Do you typical vote for the party or the candidate? What has stopped you from voting Conservative in the past?

Policies are usually what I vote for, party positions on poverty, environment, economy. I have never been enticed by the Conservatives overall approach to these core issues.
