So many throughout the years rant and rave about how amazing it is to invest in real estate. From moguls like Donald Trump to entrepreneurs like Ron Hershco, so many believe in the power of real estate. Some of my favorite quotes on real estate:
• “I swore I was going to exclusively collect assets and not liabilities for the rest of my life. I swore never to take gambles I couldn’t back up, or that I couldn’t afford to lose. And, I’ve stuck with that ever since.” Tim Blixseth
• “Don't stretch yourself too much with a mortgage. Buy within your means.. it's not worth the sleepless nights.” Sarah Beeny
• “Success seems to be connected with action. Successful people keep moving. They make mistakes, but they don't quit.” Conrad Hilton
• “The question is not do you take money out of stocks and put it into real estate, or the reverse. There's so much money out there looking for a home. I don't think it's either/or.” Sam Zell
• “It's tangible, it's solid, it's beautiful. It's artistic, from my standpoint, and I just love real estate.” Donald Trump
• “Whenever there is a a financial crisis, it is always the banks that get hit.” Gordon Wu
• “I think selling techniques are basically the same in every country, except there are different cultures that have different methods of negotiating. But real estate is the same, whether it happens to be in Australia or if it happens to be in New York.” George Ross
• “In my experience, in the real-estate business past success stories are generally not applicable to new situations. We must continually reinvent ourselves, responding to changing times with innovative new business models.” Akira Mori
• “When you're a self-made man you start very early in life. In my case it was at nine years old when I started bringing income into the family. You get a drive that's a little different, maybe a little stronger, than somebody who inherited.” Kirk Kerkorian
