Elvis birthday tribute shows are finalized

There always seem to be new things coming as far as Elvis is concerned, So, look out, when 2013 comes, a big tribute shows to coincide the King's birthday on Jan. 8, are finalized.
In what is being billed as an era-by-era tribute to the most significant entertainer of all time comes this event, the "Elvis Tribute Artist Spectacular." Headlining the tour this year is Shawn Klush, Elvis Presley Enterprises first ever Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist and BBC TV London's "World's Greatest Elvis."
Also starring is Cody Ray Slaughter, 'Elvis' from the Million Dollar Quartet Tour, Donny Edwards, ABC's the Next Best Thing to the King and more.
More includes some guests, who also appear when Elvis himself is in concert on big screen, accompanied by full orchestra and backup singers. They include DJ Fontana, Elvis' original drummer. By the way, he is a recent inductee in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The Sweet Inspirations will be on hand as will Elvis' favorite Gospel Group, the Blackwood Quartet.
Tour stops are scheduled for the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie, IL on Jan. 3; the Hemmens Cultural Center on Jan. 4; the Star Plaza Theater in Merrillville, IN on Jan. 5 and the Playhouse Square Theater in Cleveland, OH on Sunday, Jan. 6. The second leg of the tour will take shape at the Pike Performing Arts Center in Indianapolis, IN on Jan. 11; the Taft Theater in Cincinnati, OH on Jan. 12, and will finish up at the historic Brown Theater in Louisville, KY on Jan. 13.
Graceland will see a few more exhibits opening in 2013 as well. That includes the popular Lisa Marie one, extended by fan demand.
