Christians, How Do You Evangelize?

The pastor in my church told us a great story the other day. He was illustrating the point of being able to testify in order to show people what God has done for you. He believes that we should be able to do that in 100 words or less and not beat people over the head about your faith.
He told the story about running into a philosophy professor while attending a ski trip. They shared ski lifts together and eventually got into religious discussion. While the philosophy professor had lots to say against Christianity, religion in general, etc., my pastor just listened and prompted a few points and questions. Knowing him, he probably gave a lot of historical context to the life of Jesus as points to consider.
By the end of the trip, the professor wasn't necessarily convinced that he should give his life to God. But he did tell my pastor that he was one of the first evangelists that didn't completely turn him away and actually gave him something to think about.
This story does illustrate the path I am trying to take in order to spread the word of God. I've written in DJ before about how I was just as quick to dismiss the Bible through seeming contradictions as I am now to study the Bible for how it really is. I honestly think that, for me, I don't see myself condemning anyone to hell for not believing. I can't even quote the Bible verse-for-verse to illustrate why a non-believer should turn his life over. I just bring up my faith in conversation if there is a place to bring it up and if I have an opportunity to give my testimony I am working on doing it in less than a minute.
And I can do it through service I can provide to whomever needs it, non-believer or believer. When I give something that God gave me to someone who needs it, its just part of what we're supposed to do. I can't just go to a church expecting to be fed; I must feed the church, too!
So I ask, fellow Christians: how do you evangelize? How do you share your beliefs?
