Who is the NBA MVP so far?

As the All-Star game approaches, inquiring minds are wondering which NBA superstar should be given mid-season MVP. By that, I mean my inquiring mind.
It's a tough choice, considering the valuable players making their teams better already.
So far, I'd say Lebron James is the top pick. The Cavaliers haven't lost at home yet, and their defense has truly stepped up against great teams. Lebron is posting insane lines, and he isn't just hogging the ball -- his assists are also giving teammates open opportunities.
Then there's Ray Allen, my second pick. He's been making clutch 3s all season, like last night's game-winner against Philly. Although Boston is stacked with talent, Ray Allen has been the standout star, and he's giving the Celts another chance at championship glory.
Where's the love for power forwards? Let's not forget Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic, who's boating 4 blocks per game, the highest in the NBA. His FG% is extremely high, even though his FT% is abysmal. He is leading Orlando into a playoff run, but he's going to have to bring his A-game every night with PG Jameer Nelson sidelined indefinitely.
So who's your pick?
