Does DJ allow extremists in order to boost "ratings"?

Is DJ an entertainment site, a tabloid news site, or a news site?
I am getting confused. I am talking about certain articles in the news section being completely biased and sensationalistic, and I am also talking about certain comments by certain people, being racist, aggressive and inciting.
I have had enough of that. I want to hear news with two sides and fair headlines, not sensationalistic ones. Why does DJ allow these articles? Is it just me or does anyone else feel that some articles belong in the blogs?
And regarding certain comments in the comments on news articles; I think that discussion is good, but some people go overboard and that degrades the conversation. The only reason I can thnk that DJ is no expelling these people is because they think that such hate inspiring arguments are good for the "ratings" on DJ.
I was hoping DJ would set a minimum standard here so those who come here for serious news and discussion can enjoy doing so, without having to deal with members who just want to argue and be abusive. Such members should be warned and if they dont comply, expelled... To me, the fact that DJ allows this means they support is and that is a shame and makes this site lose a lot of its potential.
