When one looks back on the drubbing in November that Republicans suffered, you cant help but come away with the feeling that we should have seen this coming. This column vastly underestimated the angst in America over Bush policies. But where did the angst come from?
It is our opinion that the media generated most of it, while a gullible electorate went along for the ride. Over the next couple of weeks this column will examine the many media myths that sunk the GOP in 2008. This does not mean they aren't culpable in their demise, we will hammer that, too. So stay tuned, we look forward to dissecting Main Stream Media's effect on party politics.
