The Interview
Can you tell us why you wrote your book?
It began as a personal research project when I thought I should research God's requirements for gaining eternal life at least as carefully as I was researching the legal cases I was working on at the time as an attorney. After completing the project, I wrote the book as a means of communicating my findings with others--to show Christians how they can know for sure they have eternal life and to show Non-Christians what the bible says about how to gain eternal life.
Which part of the book was the hardest to write?
None was harder than another - it was all a spiritual battle that took about 3 years.
Does your book have an underlying message that readers should know about?
Yes. According to the Bible, we gain eternal life by "belief"--by trusting alone in Jesus and the blood He shed on the cross as a required payment for all of our sins (past and present and future). We gain eternal life by trusting in that Savior and that sacrifice--but, no trust--no salvation.
Do you remember when the writing but hit?
I did not intend to write a book, it was merely an end result.
Do you have a writing tip you would like to share?
It is not original--specificity is the soul of credibility.
Where's your favorite place to write at home?
My office.
What do you do to get away from it all?
Watch FOX News. Sometimes we travel.
