As the election 2012 cycle nears its climax, here is the rundown of the polls from 2008.
The list is for the last reported poll for those in the business of conducting these. It seems this cycle, the back and forth and the nature of these, take on a life on their own as well. It may be a case of having too many of them, or something else.
For reporting purposes as election day nears (and early voting is underway), the list may come on handy, or simply add fuel to the already huge partisan divide.
