Cover the U.S. Election 2012, get content promoted

Just over a month is left for Romney and Obama to court voters in the U.S. and on Digital Journal we've seen seeing some great coverage of the political battle. Now we've created a section pooling all those stories, and we will be extensively publicizing Election 2012 content in the coming month via that page.
From now until the election on Nov. 6, we're asking our content contributors to write about what they are seeing and hearing about the presidential race. Stories could cover how communities are reacting to campaigns or how businesses are viewing the candidates' proposals to create new jobs. Photo essays, Op-Eds and on-the-ground reporting are encouraged.
It's a momentous election for many Americans and we want Digital Journalists to be on the frontlines reporting on the important electoral issues of the day.
IMPORTANT: Writers and photographers, be sure to use the tag "Election 2012" for all content related to the election. That way, your article will automatically be found in the special section we created. Remember, it's "Election 2012", two words.
Select content will be promoted via our social media channels, especially our very popular Facebook Page. Editors will also select certain content to be placed in our Featured Articles section, in order to help writers increase awareness for their hard work.
Happy reporting!
