So I finally saw "The Dark Knight Rises" yesterday at Market Square Rainbow Cinemas. We had to actually wait in a line-up (I haven't done that since I was a teenager so it was a surprise.)
The theatre was packed to the max and though I had a tall bald man in front of me, I was able to see 93 percent of the screen (eventually he and his partner switched seats so then I had 100 percent of the screen).
My favourite moments of the film involved Bane. His character was absolutely amazing and the voice of Bane was terrific - I wish I had his voice and not the whiny voice I've had for 24 years.
The cast was superb, but the Selina Kyle character played by Anne Hathaway wasn't really needed at all. I now know why Christopher Nolan selected Hathaway for Marion Cotillard, but I won't say why not to spoil anything.
The soundtrack, which I've been listening to for the past week or two, was superb.
All in all, the film kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. This is my favourite one of the entire trilogy, but that's probably because of Bane. Too bad he didn't have more screen time, which taken up mostly by Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
I have a free movie ticket for anytime until next July so I may see this film again. 9.5/10!
