I've noticed a lot of news organizations, such as CNBC, Forbes, Yahoo! and even Examiner, introduce slideshows, which are splattered all over the front page. I personally find slideshows useful once in a while, such as Top 10 Movies from 1937 or Top 10 Photos of the Year, but when it becomes the basis of a publication then I find it nauseating.
Will Digital Journal ever go this route? I understand that it can generate revenue (Examiner has an advertisement every third slide in a standard slideshow) so I'm looking forward to the staff's response and comments from my colleagues and our readers.
