News relating to the UK National Health Service. The NHS Litigation Authority (NHSLA) has released a handbook of information that supports all the 2011/12 NHSLA risk management standards has now been released. The handbook can be used as a source document when preparing for assessment and also as a general reference guide for risk managers and others in the NHS. It contains references to all the documents that have been used as a source of the requirements contained within the NHSLA standards, as well as many more which will provide additional information to support and help organizations in developing their risk management systems and practices.
