There is no doubt that Beyonce is one hard worker! Just 5 months after giving birth to baby Blue Ivy, Beyonce took the stage memorial weekend to show fans shes not slowing down anytime soon. Also showing off her amazing Post Baby Bod. " I had to lose 60 pounds, they had me running on that treadmill. I ate lettuce!" The new mom said before ending the night with her smash hit "Single Ladies".
It's no surprise the amount of dedication and discipline Bey' puts into her shows. The 'Back to Business' four-night concert series (the title comes off a lyric in her first "4" single, 'Run the World Girls) -- was no different. It was her first time on stage since giving birth to her and Jay-Z's baby girl, Blue Ivy Carter, and eight months since her four concert series, "4 Intimate Nights with Beyoncé," in NYC. Days before the event, Bey' released two videos showing herself at rehearsal to show her fans how hard she had been working.
Many celebrities were in tow as well. First Lady Michelle Obama with daughters Sasha and Maliah attended the concert in support of her favorite entertainer. Other attendees include Comedian Kevin Hart, Singer/ Actress Jennifer Hudson, Singer Kelly Rowland, and of course hubby Jay-Z.
During the concert Hubby Jay-z tweeted " I'm gonna say this then I'm gonna end mine. BEYONCE is the best performer in the world. Period." HOW CUTE! Also during the concert Bey gave tributes to Lauryn Hill, the late Donna Summers and Whitney Houston.
If your a big Beyonce fan (like myself) and your wondering whats next, Beyonce has just signed on to be apart of the animated new film "EPIC" alongside Colin Farrell, Josh Hutcherson, Amanda Seyfried, Johnny Knoxville, Aziz Ansari, Pitbull, Jason Sudeikis and Steven Tyler. Also, the singer, 30, will be starring in the remake of "A star is Born" Directed by Clint Eastwood. Looks like it will be a busy summer for the Queen Bey indeed!
