She's gorgeous and hilarious, so it is no wonder why she was cast in the upcoming Adam Sandler comedy, "That's My Boy", premiering in theatres on Father's Day weekend (June 15th, 2012). Last summer Rebecca spent six weeks in Cape Cod and Boston filming “That’s My Boy” with Sandler and Andy Samberg. Rebecca plays the role of Kelly within this ensemble cast that includes Hollywood A-listers Leighton Meester, Susan Sarandon and James Caan. “That’s My Boy” follows the journey of dead-beat dad and foul-mouthed hedonistic playboy (Adam Sandler) who is faced with a bill for back-taxes. He arrives on his straight-laced son's (Andy Samberg) doorsteps just before his wedding day and everything unfolds. This fun-filled adventure had Rebecca working closely with the producers, giving her the confidence to produce another project on the horizon for her: The indie sci-fi feature “Life Tracker”.
In “Life Tracker”, Rebecca stars alongside Matt Dallas (Eastwick, KyleXY), Jay Thomas (Hung, Snatched) and Ron Canada (Boston Legal, The Mentalist). The film is set in the near future and centers on a new device that's emerged to detect the time of death of every man's life through DNA analysis, igniting fear and paranoia throughout the world. The film follows an aspiring filmmaker, portrayed by Finnegan (Dallas), who chronicles the hysteria and stumbles upon the mystery behind Life Tracker Limited, the company behind the device. Rebecca plays Bell, one of three best friends who are inseparable until they get the results from Lifetracker that changes their friendship forever. Produced by Sarju Patel, Debbie Vandermeulen and Rebecca Marshall, the film, which was written and directed by Joe McClean (How to Make a David Lynch Film), is being filmed in Los Angeles and Alabama.
Rebecca was born in Toronto, Canada. A former model, Rebecca began acting professionally at seventeen. Her first appearances in front of the camera were in Holly Cole’s music video “Onion Girl” and Chris Cummings’s music video “I Waited”. After working on numerous Canadian productions and television commercials, Rebecca traveled to Los Angeles to continue her acting career. Her first guest-starring role was on the CBS series “Threshold”.
Rebecca is widely recognized for her role in “Saw 3D” as Suzanne, a young greedy lawyer trying to short cut her way to the top. Other notable roles include the Emmy Award-winning television series “West Wing”, "CSI: Miami", "Shark" and "Party Down".
The multitalented entrepreneur isn't slowing down anytime soon. Her production company is also slated to begin shooting “‘Til Death Do Us Part” later this year.
