I was just perusing some news regarding the updates on Whitehouse.gov where a "Did you know?" section has been added underneath every presidential bio since Calvin Coolidge, and links/ties back to President Obama in some shape or form.
Not clear on why they stopped at that point (unless they haven't gotten around to doing Presidents #1-#29 just yet). Also, for whatever reason, they skipped Gerald Ford's page.
The New York Post says, "As you can see, Obama appreciates the efforts of FDR, Truman, Reagan and others to get the ball rolling so that Obama could complete the task."
The administration says they didn't "alter" the bios, ""No biographies have been altered," a White House official told Fox News. "We simply added links at the bottom of each page to related whitehouse.gov content, which is a commonly used best practice to encourage people to browse more pages on a site."
(Here was one blogger's take on it: http://obamainhistory.tumblr.com/ )
