Richard Mdluli, the head of South Africa secret services, has recently been released from his duties. This news comes right when South Africa president Jacob Zuma is heavily contested by members of the parliament. Mdluli and Zuma are known to be close friends: During the 2009 elections, facing the division of the African National Congress, every candidate worked with the police or the secret services to destabilise their opponents. Zuma had Mdluli.
In 2011, Richard Mdluli was charged and arrested for corruption after he bought 2 BMWs with his employer's money, and had members of his family hired as spies!
With Mdluli out of the way, how long will Jacob Zuma last?
