Freelance caregiving stress; releasing brings relief

But I'm also considering taking a modified vow of silence: Only uplifting, entertaining and necessary speaking -- and silence.
Walking is a lifesaver in many ways.
Mostly writing for bucks will revert to mostly blogging for free, a big change of plans. My colleague the Tortoise Cat has been hinting we need to nibble more greens, also.
Content production writing by tablet and smartphone has turnrd out to be game-changing. But I quit trying a few days ago after realizing I don't need to write mass quantities now because I'm earning enough through what was part-time originally, but ramped up to full-time-plus (on-call 24/7) recently, and will stay that way for months, probably.
Dictation, gesture-keyboards and non-free apps I haven't been bold enough to play with yet would allow me to keep on production writing, I'm sure. But knowing my expenses are covered anyway has dampened my enthusiasm. My free whiles are spent on serenity restoration these days.
On DJ I will contribute news, as often as possible.
Because I can support myself from this gig, I am letting go of most other work. For this season and the next few, I must take better care of myself, too.
Travel to California might become part of this job in a month or so. But I am hoping that will be called off on doctors' advice.
The Tortoise Cat doesn't enjoy car rides at all (to understate her position). She would hate plane rides more, I expect.
Blogging here is challenging without any way to save a draft! I saved this early so I wouldn't lose everything suddenly.
I will keep it up, but not as often because the extra effort and uncertainty discourages. It took me a half hour by tablet to finish after saving the first time, even though the pics were uploaded ahead.
I blog here too: http://ecp-writes.livejournal.com/ -- there's an app for that.
