Emily Bear made her first appearance on the "Ellen" show at the age of 6. This little pianist composed a song for "Ellen" that she said only took ten minutes to write.
After that in May of 2008 WGN news in Chicago aired the amazing story of a very gifted 6 year old'\.
After opening at the Chicago parade in 2009, Emily returned to the "Ellen" show with a newly composed song, which she donated all the money from its sales to breast cancer. Her compassion for people is yet another gift, which she continues to give through her music.
After her debut at the White House, Emily returned once again to the "Ellen" show to talk about her experience. Emily surprised Ellen, with a song she wrote for Ellen's upcoming wedding.
Approaching her 1000th show, Ellen brings back "Emily Bear" who she has put on her favorite list. Emily wearing the dress she performed in at the White House, announced on Ellen that she had written yet another song.
The song "Tomorrows Wishes" was written for the Children's Hospital of LA., and has donated all the money from the sales to the hospital. Once again, the generosity of someone so young continues to be pounded out on a piano with her fingers of love.
Emily Bear is only ten years old, but she’s already put out five albums, appeared on Ellen DeGeneres’ daytime talk show six times and performed at the White House for the President. She is the youngest solo performer ever to play the Ravinia Festival.
