Why is it that so often there are problems recommending your own articles direct from the page to both Facebook and Google+?
And quite often this also happens when sharing other people's articles?
I always have to check immediately afterwards that the post is displaying correctly.
Instead of getting the proper link, thumb and description, it comes up with a generic Digital Journal look, albeit with the correct link:

It even happens occasionally if directly sharing a link on Digg.com, but there, at least you can change the title and description.
I have found with both Facebook and Google that if you copy the title of the article and then paste that on the post, it does usually display correctly, but what a pain!
