The tense between Bangladesh and India getting worse. When Bangladesh is celebrating it's 40 years of independence, then the clash between two border countries is getting terrified. The people of Bangladesh are now so worried about the recent brutality by Indian forces.
Just Friday morning, Indian drug smugglers abducted a member of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) into India after the paramilitary force killed one of their own near the Bangladesh border.
BGB have communicated with Indian counterpart Border Security Force (BSF) to return the man named Lutfar Rahman, the abducted BGB member, the force's Comilla sector commander Col Rustam Ali claimed to the journalists. He also said, "A flag meeting will be held in the afternoon,".
Bangladesh Officials said a Boara camp patrol was sent to Laxmipur Dalkia village of Geliara union at Sadar (south) upazila around 6:30am on a tip-off that a consignment of Indian cough syrup Phensidyl, banned in Bangladesh for its widespread use by addicted youths, was being smuggled through the border.
Later, BGB members fired a few rounds of bullets when the smugglers had learnt of the drive and attack them. Then, the smugglers held Lutfar and took him away to the other side of the border after one of their fellows, Shah Alam, had been shot dead, Col Rustam claimed.
