There's something about seeing a Santa strolling along a Christmas Market that really brings the holiday season into full swing for me. My tree has been up for weeks and presents for the kids are nestled beneath the massive greenery. At Christmas I turn back in time and gaze in wonder at everything just as I did as a child. Seeing Prince Charming, although a swarmy one, puts a bit of the magic of childhood into the air.

I hope as the years pass by that my own children can take the time to shake off the seriousness of adulthood during the season if only for a moment. Christmas is about wonder, excitement and joy. I hope your holidays are all touched with a bit of the whimsy that a child feels when Jolly Ole Saint Nick appears!
